Lizzie is a lesbian interest thriller film based on the true story of Lizzie Borden who was accused of the axe murders of her father and stepmother in Fall River, Massachusetts in 1892. When Maggie, an Irish maid whose real name is Bridget joins the Borden household, socially isolated Lizzie Borden befriends her. As time passes the bond and intimacy between Lizzie and Maggie deepens to the point where they make a pact to help each other deal with the abusive behaviour of Lizzie's father.
