The Ground Beneath My Feet (Der Boden unter den Füßen) is a lesbian interest film featuring Lola, a late twenties career driven management consultant who works 100 hours a week and lives from one hotel to the next. None of her colleagues know about her sister Conny who has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. When Lola discloses to her boss and lover Elise that her work performance is being impacted on by her home life Lola realizes she has to decide what's most important to her.
