A Date for Mad Mary (2016) is a poignant drama set in Dublin about Mary who recently released from a six month stint in prison for pub brawling tries to find a date to her friend Charlene's wedding. Mary soon discovers that getting a date is harder than she expects and her lack of direction and focus is not helping matters. When Mary strikes up a relationship with videographer Jess it awakens desires in her that she had previously not registered.
