In the Norwegian movie Thelma (2017) a young woman called Thelma who is highly controlled by her Christian parents goes to study in Oslo and there forms a friendship with a beautiful fellow student Anja. Isolated and lonely Thelma is drawn to Anja while at the same she tries to deny her feelings and desires for another woman.
