Becks is a LGBTQ film about the life of singer and songwriter Allyssa Robbins. The lesbian interest storyline follows out lesbian Becks, who after a crushing break up with her girlfriend, is forced by circumstances to return to her home town and to live with her mother, an ex-nun. Playing for tips at a bar she develops an unlikely friendship with a married woman Elyse who she begins teaching to play the guitar. When Becks's mother discovers the pair are lovers, Becks and Elyse must decide the future of their relationship.
